For this role, you will be based on São Paulo, in the heart of the city, Avenue Paulista. The description is in english, because we are looking for someone could use english in your routine :)

 

As Marketing Director you will report to the Chief Growth Officer and be based in São Paulo, being the senior reference for Marketing across OLX Brazil and verticals.  You will manage a vast team of specialists focused on growth and engagement.

You main stakeholders are:

  • Vertical leads (Autos, RE, Goods marketplace) for strategy, budgeting and media;
  • Data & sales intelligence team for CRM,
  • Sales team generating lead generation;
  • Product team for customer journey and product marketing;
  • Executive management team.

Your responsabilities will include:

  • Development and implementation of the marketing strategy (OLX & verticals) - both on and offline;
  • Lead brand positioning and health;
  • Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products;
  • Define KPIs and research roadmap;
  • Overseeing implementation of the marketing strategy - including budget, campaigns, events, content generation, digital marketing, and PR;
  • Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives;
  • Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team with strong focus on process optimization & automation;
  • Ensuring that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team;
  • Build a consistent and relevant communication strategy for B2B & B2C (content and design);
  • Suporte Sales team with clear strategy definition through third party agency;
  • Work closely with product team to map the customer journey and working closely to define marketing materials and programs;
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition;
  • Manage CRM systems for both private and professional customers;
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
What will you need to be success in this role?

  • Strong track-record in leading marketing teams in digital companies (or digital divisions of brick & mortar companies);
  • Experience in managing relationship with external agencies;
  • Fluent in English
  • Data-inspired - understand fundamental trends and data points in generating hypothesis for execution, make every decision influenced by data;
  • Resourcefulness - being able to find ways to execute and reach goals;
  • X-functional stakeholder management - understand internal clients and how to best serve them;
  • Comfortable with dynamic changes - being able to handle well big changes and help deliver these changes to the team;
  • Inspiring - get people excited about our purpose and help them grow and achieve their career objectives;
  • Organized - making sure processes are implemented, optimized, followed and automated.
  • Getting your hands wet - fundamental to lead teams, but also dig into specific projects and help execute;
